Intrusive thoughts

I used to have negative intrusive thoughts for many years, I often described them as lightning bolts coming out of nowhere..

They started from trauma but persisted because they were so ugly to me that my mind kept pushing them away, and it caused them to constantly return.

I was driving one day and I asked for help with this, I randomly put on Ram Dass and of course he was talking about the very thing I was going through.

(Infact this seems to always happen with his recordings.. try it 😅)

Ram Dass said, love all your thoughts, even the ugly ones, really love them, even if they’re despicable.

So I did, and it worked.. I haven’t had an intrusive thought in many years.

Our bodies want to return to wholeness, it can’t do this if we reject parts of ourselves.
