The Truth about Highly Sensitive People

𝑩𝒆𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑯𝒊𝒈𝒉𝒍𝒚 𝑺𝒆𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒊𝒕𝒔 𝒖𝒑𝒔 + 𝒅𝒐𝒘𝒏𝒔.

We are sensitive to all energy and are here to be put to good use and help people.

But we must first help ourselves and learn about boundaries and discernment.

With people, with Spirit and with ourselves.

We can often get sick, feel weak and tired from being sensitive.

Like we are over-exposed to everything and the world is too much for us.

We have trouble w being in our body and feeling all our feelings.

𝑾𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒉𝒂𝒔 𝒃𝒆𝒊𝒏𝒈 𝑺𝒆𝒏𝒔𝒊𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒐𝒇𝒇𝒆𝒓𝒆𝒅 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒕𝒉𝒂𝒕 𝒚𝒐𝒖 𝒘𝒐𝒖𝒍𝒅𝒏’𝒕 𝒉𝒂𝒗𝒆 𝒍𝒆𝒂𝒓𝒏𝒕 𝒐𝒕𝒉𝒆𝒓𝒘𝒊𝒔𝒆?

For me, it’s taught me to be in my body.

To pay attention to my body and all my feelings.

To not ignore my body, my needs and my desires.

To mother myself.

To have compassion for myself.

To slow down.

To come back down to Earth and be here, now in the present.

To make authentic connections w the people around me.

To breathe + feel somatically what my body needs.

To honor my body

To relax my nervous system

To embrace the slow pace and integrate.

I’ve seen what my sensitive body looks like in the Spirit world.

Imagine a star that has been kept in a box.

Its light bursting from the cracks, wanting to escape.

When the box is open, the star bursts out and fans it’s light out across the sky like fireworks.

But when the star is inside the box, it feels trapped and just wants to escape again.

This is a natural feeling for sensitive ones.

We want to burst out and be totally and utterly free once more.

But here on Earth realm, we are here to experience LIFE and be part of the Great Circle.

We are learning and it’s hard for us to slow down.

So sometimes Spirit does this by force.

This can sometimes look like:

-Chronic illness + exhaustion

-Sudden unexpected mystery illness

-Allergic to everything, even loud noises

We are not being punished, we are just being nudged to go inward.

To make necessary changed and be with our body, rest our nervous system and fill our cup up so we can be of good use.
